The CLIFF™ range of professional, standard chassis and PCB-mounting, female XLR sockets is designed for use in numerous applications including professional and consumer audio, broadcast and industrial uses. The design offers an economical alternative to higher-priced, metal, XLR connectors. Our products are manufactured to strict quality and performance standards. These components feature a tough, nylon construction with special, low-noise, machined or spring-action, wiping contacts for hand solder, horizontal or vertical PCB mounting. All have silver and nickel plated brass contacts.

- Dielectric Withstand: 1600 V AC between all contacts.
- Insulation Resistance: > 109 Ω at 500 V DC.
- Capacity between contacts: < 5 pf.

Materials
- Housing: Polyamide. GF on some models.
- Contacts: Brass, phosphor-bronze.
- Plating: 5 μm silver over 5 μm nickel. Gold plating available.
Countersunk mounting holes for M3 screws or plain mounting holes for self-tapping screws.
