19″ Rack Mounting Panels in 16 or 20 hole variants

CLIFF™ Electronics, leaders in the design, development and manufacture of connectors and test equipment, can now offer panel builders and systems integrators three versions of the 1U high, 19″ rack panel for XLR-format and feedthrough connectors.
- 16 standard, XLR-format holes, (24 mm diameter panel cut-out).
- 16 narrow, DualSLIM holes, (17.15 × 22.86 mm panel cut-out).
- 20 narrow, DualSLIM holes, (17.15 × 22.86 mm panel cut-out).
The flexibility allows system designers to use the best-fit connectors for their control systems and markets. The XLR version is fitted with a connector labelling strip on the front. All versions have a cable strain-relief bar fitted at the rear.
The Cliff™ series of true, feedthrough connectors are perfect for developing custom input/output configurations for wall-plates, rack panels, etc. They can be front or rear mounted and use standard cables for interconnecting – no soldering or push terminations required.
Cliff™’s feedthrough connector range allows designers to integrate audio, video, digital, optical, networking and data feeds into professional equipment for broadcast, lighting, audio and industrial applications. The range provides analogue, digital and optical feedthrough connectivity in formats including:
- USB (single and dual),
- LC and SC fibre fiber (simplex and duplex),
- TOSLINK EIAJ and
- RCA phono. phono / cinch.
The 1U panels can be factory loaded with the specific connectors required by the system designer. Internal cable harnesses are available as a special order. Pre-assembled panels simplify system assembly, reduce manufacturing time, component count and cost. Examples include:
- 50Ω, 75Ω and 75Ω gold, insulated BNC,
- Cat6 and Cat6A RJ45,
- HDMI-A to HDMI-A,
- USB2-A to USB2-B,
- USB2-B to USB2-A,
